This site collects the work of one author: seven interactive mathematics instruments, three generative shader pieces, and essays on mathematics, drug development, and AI. One person, one set of tools, one standard throughout.
The instruments share a rule: an instrument, not an illustration. Every number on screen is computed live or measured from a running simulation — nothing is staged to look right. A small tag in the corner of each figure says which kind of number you're looking at: live, exact, measured, stored. Where a page teaches through play, losing is usually the lesson — built to fail informatively, not just to fail.
Nothing ships untested. An independent Python reference checks each instrument's mathematics by a separate route before the page goes up. Every instrument carries its own self-test, runnable from a button on the page itself. Drafts go through adversarial review rounds aimed at breaking a claim, not confirming it.
The site is authored and directed by Jérôme Verony, built in close collaboration with Claude models (Anthropic) — across research, code, and prose. This page, and everything else here, was made the same way.
The suite began as the shortlist that generated the suite, a scored ranking of candidate ideas, and drew on a longer literature survey, Eight Papers, Seven Threads.
Colophon
