Shaders

These are atmosphere, not explanation — three real-time fragment-shader pieces that render on the GPU and animate forever, with no input and no end state. They began as studies of Yohei Nishitsuji's twigl shader art, worked loose from a tweet's character limit into something meant to just sit and run.

Motion reduced: the live preview is paused here. Tide Tables is a slow tidal breathing over domain-warped caustics — open it directly to see it at its own pace.

Tide Tables

Domain-warped analytic caustics — shallow water over a sandbar, a slow tidal breathing.

Each piece is a single self-contained page — WebGL required, and there is nothing to click once inside. They open full-screen and run forever; the browser's back button returns you here.
